Day1: Imlil to amsakrou
Our Departure to Amsakrou after breakfast in your accommodation via Tamatert and Ait souka villages With Lunch at the Tizi n’Tamatert pass. After lunch, continue to Ouanesekra-Tamguist. Arrival in Amsakrou for the night. 5 hours of walking.

Day 2: Amsakrou to Id aissa.

Departure from Amsakrou walk along the village passing through farming terraces. Then Tizi n’Aguersioual Lunch in Matate Village. Continue through Tizi n’Oudite towards Aït Aïssa to spend the night. 5 to 6 hours of walking.

Day 3: I’d issa village to imlil.

Departure from Aït Aïssa to Tizi Oussem village the last village in azzaden valley and then walk up to with a stunning view of azzaden valley and peaks around the valley.

Afterwards to Tizi Mzik for lunch then walk down to villages of imlil your accommodation overnight or transfer back to marrakech.

Day 1: Marrakech to Ouarzazate via Ait Benhaddou
Depart from Marrakech and journey through the High Atlas Mountains, traversing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. En route, stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a historic ksar renowned for its striking architecture and as a backdrop for numerous films. After exploring Ait Benhaddou, continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga via Zagora

Leave Ouarzazate and head towards Zagora, passing through the scenic Draa Valley, characterized by its lush palm groves and traditional Berber villages. Upon reaching M’Hamid, the last town before the vast Sahara, embark on an off-road adventure to the Erg Chigaga dunes. Experience a camel trek at sunset, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the expansive sand dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp under the star-studded sky.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga to Ait Benhaddou via Foum Zguid and Taznakht

After witnessing a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, depart Erg Chigaga and journey towards Foum Zguid, traversing the arid landscapes and the dry Lake Iriki. Continue to the town of Taznakht, known for its vibrant Berber carpets and textiles. From there, make your way back to Ait Benhaddou, where you can relax and explore any areas you might have missed during your first visit.

Day 4: Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech via Telouet and Tizi n’Tichka

On your final day, depart Ait Benhaddou and take the route through Telouet, visiting the historic Telouet Kasbah, once a significant stronghold of the Glaoui family. Continue your journey over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, descending back into the plains leading to Marrakech. Upon arrival in Marrakech, your trip concluded.

Day 1: Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou via Telouet
Your adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, you will stop at the historic Kasbah of Telouet, a former stronghold of the Glaoui family, where you can admire its intricate architecture and learn about its fascinating history. Continuing through scenic Berber villages, you will arrive at the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco’s most famous ksars (fortified villages). Spend the afternoon exploring its winding alleys, ancient mud-brick houses, and panoramic views before settling in for the night.

Day 2: Ait Benhaddou to Todgha via Dades Gorges

After breakfast, the journey continues toward the Dades Valley, passing through the city of Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” You will drive through the picturesque Valley of Roses, famous for its annual rose festival, and then into the stunning Dades Gorges, where dramatic rock formations and deep canyons create a breathtaking landscape. From here, you proceed to Todgha Gorge, a spectacular natural wonder with towering rock walls reaching 300 meters in height. This area is perfect for short hikes along the river before you settle in for the night near the gorge.

Day 3: Todgha to Merzouga via Tinjdad

Today, you head toward the vast Sahara Desert. The journey takes you through Tinjdad and several small Berber villages before reaching Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and date palm groves. From here, you continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek into the golden dunes, where you will witness a breathtaking sunset over the Sahara. The night will be spent in a traditional desert camp, enjoying a Berber dinner under the starlit sky, accompanied by local music around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga to Agdez via Nkob

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, the journey continues toward the Draa Valley, passing through the desert town of Rissani and the oasis of Alnif. You will travel through the rugged landscapes of Nkob, a charming village known for its numerous kasbahs. From here, the road follows the Draa River, lined with lush palm groves and ancient settlements, before reaching Agdez, a small but historically significant town where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Agdez to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Tizi n’Tichka

On the final day, you head north, passing through the Draa Valley and arriving in Ouarzazate, where you may visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah or the Atlas Film Studios. From there, the road climbs back into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering spectacular views over the valleys below. By late afternoon, you will arrive in Marrakech, where your unforgettable desert adventure comes to an end.
