Four days.
TREKKING ATLAS, BERBER VILLAGES – FOUR DAYS
1st Day: From Imlil (1740m) to L´azib tamsoult (2490m) (about 5 hours walking)
From Imlil centre, we will walk to explore Arghen and Mzikk villages. Those are berber villages with old houses, after that we will leave villages behind and take a path to l´zib n´mzikk, it´s 1900m high, in this path we can see all Imlil valley and we will be in front of Adrar Adj, which is 3129m. Then we will start up to pass to Tizi n´mzikk, it´s 2489m, and amazing place with breathtaking view to have a break (three hours from Imlil). After have rest, we complete our route leaving Tizi n´mzikk behind taking a path between juniper trees with good landscape to L´azib n´tamsoult, this will take about two hours more. It is 2490m altitude here, and is famous place for its waterfall called Ighouliden. We will spend night here in its refuge. People from Tizi oussem come here to avoid hot summer in the village.
2nd Day: From L´azib tamsoult to Id Aissa (about 4 hours walking)
The trekkers should wake up at 8 o’clock to have breakfast and be ready to move. From here we will go to Azaden valley, it’s a berber valley, with friendly and hospitality people, more than 98% are working in agriculture and 2% from tourism. They have nut and apple trees, cherries, corn, as well as vegetables, potatoes, onion and radish on winter. In this path we will pass over Tizi Oussem, berber village, and to Id Aissa, where we will have lunch and pass the night. After lunch, we will go to explore Azadn Valley.
3th Day: From Id Aissa to Aguersioual (about 6 hours walk)
From Id Aissa we will climb to Tizi Oudid, it is 2219m. We will start at 8 o´clock and our path will go through juniper trees to Tizi Oudid, which is a wide place with beauty landscape and we will take a rest here, then start to go down to Matat village, it´s a cosy berber village with green nature fields of apples and cherries Mon and vegetables, as well facing Aguersioual village in Imlil valley, where we will say goodbye to mules and spend the last night.
4th Day: From Aguersioual to Marrakech (it is just 2 hours)
Leaving day to Marrakech. Take a taxi and it will leave the group wherever you need in Marrakech (airport, hotel, … )
